**In Loving Memory of Anthony J. Manicke**
With heavy hearts, we celebrate the life of Anthony J. Manicke, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who touched the lives of many. Anthony was a loving husband for 59 wonderful years to the late Rosemarie. Together, they built a beautiful family and he will forever be as a beloved father John (the late Lisa), Pam (Bill) Schnecke, and Gary (Courtney).
As a proud grandfather, Anthony cherished the moments spent with his grandchildren: Matthew (Sarah), Josie (Denis), Tony, John, Amber (Dan) O'Leary, Lauren (Austin), Brianna (Jake) Angelini, and Nathan. His heart swelled with joy as a great-grandfather to Matthew Jr., Charlotte, and Lillian, and he filled their lives with warmth and love. He was also a best buddy and loving uncle to Pat Jurczyk, who will carry on his spirit.
Anthony dedicated 43 years of his life to working as a machinist and tool-die maker at Illinois Tool Works, exemplifying a strong work ethic and a commitment to his craft. Later in life, he proudly became part of his son’s service station, where he continued to shine as a right-hand man.
A lifelong parishioner of St. Hyacinth Basilica, Anthony took great pride in his faith and community, reflecting the values that guided him throughout his life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to St. Hyacinth Basilica, a testament to the love and devotion Anthony held for his parish.
Though he has left this earthly realm, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by love.
