Craig Roman

November 16, 1974 — January 7, 2026

Craig Roman, a loving husband, father, son, and brother, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He dedicated his life to serving others with compassion, dignity, and unwavering kindness. As a funeral director and embalmer, Craig guided families through their hardest moments with a steady hand and a generous heart. His work was more than a profession — it was a reflection of the empathy and respect that defined him.

Craig and his wife, Stacey, shared 25 years of marriage filled with devotion, partnership, and deep love. Together they raised three sons — Nate, Joshua, and Connor — who were the pride and joy of Craig’s life. He was a patient, supportive, and endlessly proud father, always encouraging his boys to chase their passions and stand strong in who they are.

Born to Karen and James Roman, Craig grew up surrounded by strong family bonds that shaped his generous spirit. He is survived by his mother, Karen, and by his sister, Kelly Pariso, along with her daughters, Ally and Rachel, all of whom held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his father, James.

Craig embraced life with passion and purpose. He was an avid muskie fisherman, finding peace on the water and joy in the patience and challenge of the sport. He was also a dedicated marathon runner, driven by determination, discipline, and a love of pushing his own limits. Whether casting a line at dawn or training on quiet roads, Craig carried a spirit of perseverance that inspired everyone around him.

He cared deeply about his community and supported causes close to his family, including efforts to raise awareness and understanding of juvenile Type 1 diabetes after his youngest son, Connor, was diagnosed. His involvement came from a place of love and a desire to help families facing similar challenges feel supported.

Those who knew Craig will remember his warmth, his resilience, and the countless ways he made others feel cared for and understood. His legacy lives on in the family he adored, the community he uplifted, and the many lives he touched through both his work and his passions.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered
