Isaiah Daniel Rivera Hernandez was born on October 3, 2019, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He left us unexpectedly on June 30, 2026, at the age of six. In those six years, Isaiah brought more love, laughter, and happiness into our lives than words could ever fully describe.
Isaiah was one of a kind. He had the sweetest heart, a gentle spirit, and a smile that could brighten anyone's day. He loved to laugh, especially while watching his favorite episodes of Pocoyo over and over again. He was always moving, jumping, spinning, running and always finding joy in the little things like his favorite rocks or looking out the window.
Bath time was one of his favorite things. He loved helping in the kitchen by gathering ingredients for his favorite meals which included turkey bacon sandwiches and cream of wheat.
Everyone who met Isaiah loved him. Even though his time with us was far too short, he left a mark that will never fade. He reminded us to slow down, laugh often, and find happiness in the smallest moments. We will carry his love with us every day.
Isaiah is survived by his parents Adrian and Gracielena, grandparents Mary, Jose, Mildred, and Nelson, aunts Lisa and Maggie, Uncle Esteban, cousins Wyatt and Claire, and many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.
We will miss him more than words can ever express. We will always wish for one more laugh, one more hug, and one more chance to hear his little ooh’s and ahh’s. Isaiah will always be loved and will always be remembered.
