Loving mother of Anibal Velazquez III and Lizaida Velazquez (Valerie Rosario).
Beloved sister of Sandra (Steven) Dean, Xavier (Carmen) Rodriguez, Andre Velazquez, Laihza
Velazquez, Vanessa (Jr) Ruiz, Marie Lester, and Christina Polischuk.
Preceded in death by her parents William Polischuk and Adriana Stratti along with brother Nicholas
Polischuk.
Fond daughter-in-law of Pilar Garcia and Anibal Velazquez Sr.
Dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews, whom she loved extremely.
Cousin to many, and sweetest friend to all.
As many of you know Maria was extremely ill, but one thing she aspired to be, regardless of it, being
present in every moment. She was a woman of little words, but her heart spoke so much. A caring and
selfless woman who made sure to always go above and beyond. To know her was to love her, that is, each
and every emotion she came with. Her smile and laughter was something so contagious that will truly be
missed. There’s never going to be a day where we won’t miss the constance of her checking up on us.
