Miroslaw M Wydra

Miroslaw “Mirek” Wydra passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, surrounded by love. He was born on July 15, 1959.

After facing health challenges with strength and dignity, he made the decision to focus on comfort, peace, and quality of life in his final days.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrzej and Zofia Wydra.

Father of Darian (Katya) Wydra and grandfather of Leona Wydra. Brother of Elzbieta Wydra and uncle of Michael Sturm. He is also remembered by his Godmother, Stefania Kraj; his Godfather in Poland, Waldemar Wydra; and his Goddaughter, Cynthia Sierra, along with many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

He proudly served in the United States Armed Forces, and the family is deeply grateful for the military honors and respect shown in recognition of his service. Those moments brought comfort and pride to the family during this difficult time.

Miroslaw was deeply cared for by the staff at Harmony Nursing Home, who became like a second family to him. The family is sincerely grateful for the compassion, kindness, and care they provided throughout his journey.

He will be remembered for his strength, humor, resilience, and stubborn spirit. He will be deeply missed.
