It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Primitivo Cirilo, who departed this life peacefully on April 28, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on June 9, 1939, in Río Grande, Puerto Rico, to Federico Cirilo and Isidora Caraballo, Primitivo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. His life was a shining example of faith, love, and quiet strength. Primitivo was preceded in death by his first wife, Elba Vega, and by two beloved grandsons, Angel Cirilo Jr. and Brandon Torres. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Cirilo; his children: Primitivo Jr., Angel Sr., Hector, Nikki, and Nelson; his stepchildren: Maria, Alex, Rosy, Ralfy, and Jacky; 10 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; his cherished sisters, Rafaela and Chavela; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Throughout his life, Primitivo was known for his deep faith, strong work ethic, and unwavering dedication to his family. He had a gift for making others feel loved and supported, whether through words, laughter, or a helping hand. He found great comfort in his relationship with God and incorporated prayer and scripture into his daily life. His kindness, humility, and gentle spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Primitivo Cirilo will be deeply missed and forever remembered. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
