Stefania Pogwizd

Stefania Pogwizd, (nee Budz), aged 84, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2024, in Park Ridge, Illinois. Born in Czarna Góra, Poland, she was the loving mother of Maria Pogwizd, devoted youngest daughter of her late parents Zofia (nee Hełdak) and Sebastian Budz, beloved sister of her late siblings Elżbieta Kowalczyk (nee Budz) and Władysław Budz and fond aunt to her nephews and niece.

A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 10 AM at St. Monica's Roman Catholic Church, located at 5136 North Nottingham Ave., Chicago, IL 60656 Reverend Łukasz Pyka, celebrating.

Stefania will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her legacy of warmth, kindness and love will forever remain in their hearts.
