It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa Nogiec, affectionately known as "Babcia Tereska," who left this world at the age of 79 on October 24, 2025, in Illinois. Born on February 21, 1946, in Michatowice, Teresa was the beloved daughter of Janina and Tadeusz Nogiec.

Teresa was a devoted mother to Catherine Wilk and a cherished grandmother to her first grandchild, Zoe. Her warmth and kindness transcended family ties; she embraced everyone she met with open arms and a radiant smile. Known for her infectious spirit, she touched countless lives and instilled a sense of joy wherever she went. Teresa dedicated her life to living fully and inspired those around her to do the same.

To honor Teresa's memory, a wake will be held on November 15 at St. Thomas Becket Church in Mt. Prospect from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a holy mass at 10:00 AM. The burial will take place at 11:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests your presence and support on this day as they celebrate the beautiful life of a remarkable woman.

Teresa's legacy of love and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
